I don’t think there are many people in EMS who don’t know the story of AMR medic Bryan Stow. Just in case you don’t know, he was severely beaten at the start of this baseball season simply for being a Giants fan. He spent a long time in a coma and – according to this article – has finally started making great progress toward recovery. The injuries he received at the hands – allegedly – of two Hispanic males will no doubt have a lasting impact on his life and it’s still unclear to what extent he can recover. However, the fact that he’s regaining the ability to speak is great progress and I’m very thankful to be able to pass along the story from EMS World about his progress. Click here to check it out!
